Wood Duck study Published in Wildfowl

This is the result of my final undergraduate project. We monitored artifical Wood Duck nest boxes in Cache Valley, Utah for three years and used the data to address causes of conspecific brood parasitism.



Utah Moose Study Runs in Journal of Mammalogy

Another paper coming out of some undergraduate work. We examined two populations of moose in Utah, one of which is the southernmost occurance of moose in the lower 48.



Talk At Sagebrush Ecosystem Conference

This talk gives an overview of some of the work our lab and associated collegues have been conducting using beaver as restoration agents. The material of this talk is specifically tailored to address use of beaver for restoration in sagebrush ecosystems. Towards the end I touch on some of the developments I’m working on for my Master’s degree.



Research on Trout Aggression Published in NAJFM

As an undergraduate I devoted a fair amount of time to extracurricular activities, among those was research. I participated in several research projects, some minor, others more involved. One of my studies was to examine aggression between Tiger, Rainbow, and Cutthroat trout to investigate how aggression could be affecting the interactions between the species when they are stocked together in reservoirs.
